Mercorp Incorporated is a company established in 1986. Located
in the McAllen, TX / Reynosa,TAM. area, it has established a manufacturing
Twin Plant operation, under the Temporary Import Programs to Produce
Products for Exportation ("Maquiladora Program").
We
have two manufacturing facilities :
- In Reynosa,
Tamaulipas, Mexico, with 25,000 sq. ft. of floor space, located five
miles from the Pharr International Bridge.
- In McAllen,
Texas, with 4,000 sq. ft. of floor space and offices.
Mercorp
Inc. has experience in a broad range of manufacturing processes,
including electronics, plastics, textiles, automotive and general assemblies
as well as disassemblies. In addition, we have an extensive experience
in Maquiladora management and NAFTA treatment product analysis, having

In January
1994, the North America Free Trade Agreement ( NAFTA ) was put into
effect. This agreement is designed to gradually reduce duties of products
produced in Mexico, Canada and the United States, until they are completely
eliminated. NAFTA will allow an unlimited amount of possibilities for
companies looking to reduce costs and expand into new markets.
